Mainship 31

Mainship had a hit with the 31 Sedan Bridge. Many of these were enjoyed under the Mainship and Silverton brands, as well as copied by several other builders. The 31 Sedan Bridge boasts attractive styling and a big flybridge, when you head below will be immediately impressed with the spacious interior packed into this 31-foot hull.There is a lot of new gear on this 31. New gennie, air-conditioner, fridge and bilge pump.Like all sedan bridge designs, the sunken floor plan is allowed by moving the engines aft where V-drives permit their installation beneath the cockpit sole. The result is a wide-open interior arranged more or less on a single level from the salon forward. There are two staterooms in this layout, so the galley ends up to port, in the salon opposite a big L-shaped settee. The double-entry head compartment gives private access from the salon or master stateroom. A TV with VCR is included.The galley has a new fridge, microwave oven, stove, hot and cold water with stainless basin.Topside, molded steps lead up to the bridge with its wraparound guest seating and unusual portside helm position. The set back location gives good visibility all around. The electronics include SiTek AVS-107 bottom graph, Lowrance GlobalMap 1600 plotter and VHF. Trim tabs, B&G engine network, compass and stereo are also installed.With narrow sidedecks, a convenient walk-thru in the bridge coaming leads to the foredeck. This layout offers a large comfortable flybridge seating arrangement with a wide molded fiberglass stairwell to the bridge. This results in a larger cabin while still providing easy access for line handling or sunning.The cockpit has a molded bench seat across the transom, and both port and starboard. The entire sole lifts for great engine access. The deck is perfectly designed to enjoy the sun and the beautiful weather outside. A bimini stands ready when the weather requires it. The cockpit is open and functional with easy access through the transom on to a huge swim platform.Twin Marine Power 350 CID will cruise the Mainship 31 at 14-18 knots and reach a top speed of about 26 knots. Distributors and plug wires were just replaced. Manifolds were replaced in 2007.The large salon that has a full galley up for pleasant entertaining. Two staterooms and a full head w/ shower forward. A great separate guest stateroom with a double berth w/ a single above. She is clean and ready to go!This Mainship has all the amenities you would expect in a spacious 31' cruiser. Air conditioning, new generator with 12 hours make her a turn key family boat for comfortable cruising. The spacious interior packed into this 31' hull is bright, open and very well laid out.The 31' Sedan Bridge from Mainship is one of the most versatile and accommodating layouts you will find in her size range.Only two owners have enjoyed this Mainship since new.
