Brand new boat for Bayliner - the new 170 OutBoard recently introduced by Bayliner is a great addition to the Bayliner line up. With todays new EPA regulations on the sterndrive or Inboard Outboard (IO) powered boats they have become more expensive as fuel injection and catalytic converters are now required. Bayliner has always been focused on giving customers the most value for the money - so they have been reverting towards more outboard powered boats like this new 170 OB. Todays new Four Stroke Outboard engines with fuel injection are repacing the IOs in this size range - which works well for this area - proven to be great products for saltwater use and shallow water applications we look forward to the changes. The new OutBoards built by Bayliner include the 160 OB, 170 OB, 180 OB, and soon we'll see a 19 footer - we're told.
